For practices
Your Practice. Your Physicians. Your Community.
Your practice brings the relationships, the facility, and clinical oversight. ACM brings the research infrastructure: sponsors, startup, regulatory support, coordination, and quality.
Advanced Cellular Mechanics
People. Biology. Innovation.
Clinical research should be more accessible, more understandable, and more connected to the communities it serves. ACM is building a community-centered research model that brings scientific innovation closer to home.

The name is about the science. The mission is about the people. Advanced Cellular Mechanics exists to make clinical research more accessible, understandable, respectful, and responsive to the needs of the communities it serves.
Too often research happens far from where people live, in language they were not given a chance to question, on a schedule built for the study rather than for a working life. We think that is a design problem — and design problems can be fixed.
Participation is always voluntary. No one is a recruitment number here, and no one's race, income, diagnosis, or neighborhood is treated as a reason to target them.
What community-based means to us
We seek partnerships with trusted medical practices so research opportunities can sit inside the healthcare relationships people already have — with their own physician still their physician.
The areas ACM is building capability in.
These are interest areas, not open studies. ACM lists a study as available only once there is a verified opportunity and its recruitment wording has completed every applicable review. See Find Research.
Call, write, or read through the site first. No medical information is needed to ask a question, and no one is put on a list for being curious.
What the study asks of you, how long it takes, what the risks are, and what it will not do. Bring your family or your own doctor into the conversation.
Consent comes before any study procedure. You can stop at any point, and your regular healthcare is unaffected either way.
For practices
Your practice brings the relationships, the facility, and clinical oversight. ACM brings the research infrastructure: sponsors, startup, regulatory support, coordination, and quality.
For sponsors and CROs
Feasibility, startup, regulatory support, recruitment operations, and quality oversight from a site organization rooted in the community it enrolls from.
For community members
ACM is forming a Community Advisory Board of 8–12 members to review participant materials, outreach plans, and practical barriers. Review work is compensated.
Read how participation works, what protections exist, and where those protections stop. Then ask us whatever is still unanswered.
